So glad they have reopened. Any type of food from breakfast to dinner is always on point. It's nice to eat local, have a delicious variety, and have it be very very reasonably priced. You could never be disappointed in this gem.

A bit pricey for what you get my omlett was good but daughter n law chicken strips were like frozen banquet but her soup was very good

Was a bad breakfast. Burretto was cold and tasted awful. Let them know and was like ok.

Yankee boy has the best fish dinners, and the rest of their food is pretty awesome too.

Great Food.. Breakfasts are amazing. The staff is prompt, courteous, and super friendly.. I recommend this place to any one and bring your appetite the servings are huge.

The ambience was great. I loved all the vintage pictures on the walls of the community and region. We dined on Taco Tuesday night and they had a Wonderful Special Menu including a dessert that sounded Fabulously Delicious. I was so full, I wasn't able to have dessert. Our Waitress was very helpful and pleasant. I had the Chicken Quesadillas, and they were OUTSTANDING!! I was pleasantly surprised. Our Waitress suggested the dish and I am glad I tried them. My meal was reasonably priced and the Yankee Boy was clean. A very good experience and I highly recommend it!!

Needed a quick breakfast so we stopped and ate here. I had a senior meal and was fully satisfied. Waitstaff very friendy and good food. We will be going back there during our travels.

Wonderful service. Friendly and professional! Food was awesome. Breakfast omelets, pancakes to name a couple were incredible. Tablespaced out for social distancing.

My son and I stopped here on New Year's Day and we were treated to a great lunch. I got the hot beef sandwich and was amazed that it was with fresh ingredients. When was the last time you were served real mashed potatoes and homemade gravy? I'd also gotten what I thought was a small side salad but this was huge and again fresh and 6asty ingredients. My son got the Reuben with sweet potato fries. It was a great meal and one we needed boxes for.Now you might think this is off the beaten path but I promise you won't be disappointed. So if you find yourselves in the Kalkaska or Traverse City area make sure you stop by!!

Homemade cheesecake is worth the stop! Had the soup of the day, buffalo chicken, delicious. This place is packed every time I drive by and I completely get why, good stuff.

We really enjoy it. The staff and owner are so sweet. They are very efficient but in a calm way, gives you a relaxing enjoyable feeling. Your fish is outstanding and your ranch dressing is so good, if I had to something that could be improved, it would be hard. I would like a good romaine lettuce in the salad, other than that it's a friendly, kind, loving, enjoyable restaurant that you can see people love going to. Thank you for the kindness everyone shows.

Stopped here on a whim and was pleasantly surprised at the warm inviting environment and very welcoming workers! The food was very reasonably priced and was extremely tasty will be returning here if ever in the area again!!!

Made a stop here on a long trip back to southeast Michigan from up north. My boyfriend and I were looking for filling comfort food, this was THE PLACE. Great cod dinner with amazing french fries (we're potato enthusiasts so this was a win). Great service and very cool decor. Would go here again and HIGHLY recommend.

Due to Covid, they have been closed. I'm looking forward to the reopening. I've got better at making omelets at home but I'd rather sit at my usual table, drink some excellent coffee and eat my meal. Not having to clean my kitchen after making breakfast.I sure hope they survive this disaster.

Has the best burger I've had in a long time; amazing BLT; really good cheese steak sandwich and chicken wrap. Took carry out so don't know about the atmosphere.
